Re-Defining Health

World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

My question to you is, how do YOU define your own health?  


It is very important to analyse/understand your own perceptions about health, find out more about your thinking patterns, your values and opinions, test yourself to see if they belong to you or if you are just influenced by someone else.
Whether you are trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy one, if you just want to stay fit, or trying to heal yourself from an illness, none of these goals can ever be accomplished without you fully comprehending the dimensions of your health and how its different aspects are interlinked, affecting one another, only then you will succeed in your quest and acheive all you are hoping for.





The 5 Dimensions of Health

The reason why i wanted to talk about this first and foremost is because it is fundamental to have the proper base for our knowledge from which we can build up and plan for our optimal health. 

Always remember (No matter what our weight, we can use the cues from our physical and mental selves to judge how healthy we are).
